Kat Avila is an artist when it comes to mens grooming and mens haircuts. She has over three decades working directly in the fashion industry. Her work has been featured on billboards, television, and magazines. These include NYC Fashion week, LV Fashion Week, 944 in Miami, AC Luxury, Valley Social Lehigh Valley Style, Gucci fashion commercials, Playboy, Miss Pennsylvania Pageant USA, Miss USA 2016 and Miss American Beauty 2016. Kat has also worked with professional athletes. After creating this amazing portfolio, Kat started Style Beauty Lounge and Boutique in the East Coast to house the most innovative upcoming stylists.

But her passion for mens grooming brought her to the barber world where she's been killing the game. Kat is now here in Beverly Hills, ready to bring her passion and East coast vibes and promises to turn your world upside down. As the leader she's is very excited to build an awesome team in Burbank and still maintain her clientele in Beverly Hills.

With over 10+ years behind the chair, my focus goes beyond the haircut. It’s about creating a personalized experience where you feel confident, understood, and taken care of. I’m known for attention to detail, efficiency, and making sure every client leaves not just looking sharp but knowing how to maintain it.

I enjoy working with business owners, entrepreneurs, and creators men who are building something and take pride in how they show up. Conversations in my chair can range from grooming to life, business, and growth. I meet you where you’re at.

My background includes serving in the U.S. Navy (2000–2004), and today I run Purpose LA alongside my wife. I’m passionate about helping men grow—whether that’s through the shop, my men’s group, or simply the conversations we have during a cut.

Outside the shop, you’ll find me hiking, at the beach, reading, working on the business, or spending time with family and community at Mosaic Church.

Senior Barber

For clients who appreciate precision, culture, and a great conversation, I specialize in NY-style cuts—brush cuts, tapers, and beards, especially for Black and Latino hair types.

With over a decade behind the chair, my focus is delivering more than just a clean cut—it’s a full experience. I’m detail-oriented when it matters, but adaptable to your pace, and known for consistency, quality, and the vibe in the chair.

Born and raised in upstate New York, my journey started early and took me from cutting hair on the East Coast to building my craft in Los Angeles. Along the way, I’ve connected with creatives and industry leaders including Master P, Kenya Barris, and Kill The Noise, expanding both my artistry and perspective.

Outside the shop, I’m passionate about music as a singer-songwriter, along with cars, motorcycles, and nature. Whether you’re here to relax or have a real conversation, I meet you where you’re at.

I believe in dedication, growth, and keeping God first in everything I do.

With over 11 years of experience, my approach is rooted in European-style craftsmanship, taking the time to shape each haircut with intention, balance, and attention to detail. I focus on creating “wash and go” styles that maintain their structure and look sharp without relying on heavy styling products.

Every appointment is a complete grooming experience from consultation to wash, cut, and finish. I take pride in delivering a calm, focused environment where clients can relax, trust the process, and leave feeling polished and confident.

I’m especially a great fit for professionals and individuals who value quality over speed, and who want a haircut that grows out clean and remains easy to manage.

With a background as an educator for Paul Mitchell, my approach goes beyond the haircut. I focus on clear communication, helping you understand your hair, how to style it, maintain it, and confidently ask for it every time you sit in the chair.

Clients often say the difference is how heard they feel. I take the time to listen, educate, and make sure you leave not just looking sharp,but fully confident in your look.

I’m detail-focused in everything I do, with an emphasis on consistency, precision, and creating results that last beyond the appointment.

I welcome all clients and am especially proud to create a space where everyone, including the LGBTQ+ community feels comfortable, seen, and taken care of.

Outside the shop, I enjoy spending time with my son and living a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Hey everyone, I’m Ricky  a licensed barber specializing in fades, tapers, and modern scissor cuts. What I enjoy most is seeing my clients leave with the exact look they came in for.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and served in the Marine Corps from 2018–2022, where I was trained as a diesel mechanic and also became the unofficial barracks barber. I was stationed in Hawaii, North Carolina, and Okinawa, experiences that shaped my discipline and work ethic.

After the military, I worked as a diesel mechanic for companies like Waste Management and Universal Studios, but I felt called to barbering  not just for the craft, but for the relationships and the ability to help people feel their best.

Outside the shop, I’m either in the gym, trying new food spots, or watching anime.

I’m proud to be part of Purpose LA and look forward to giving every client a premium experience in my chair.
